A 90 minute workshop. The second part of my SCALES FOR IMPROVISING series where we learn a range of scales that take you beyond blues improvisation. In this session, we will learn the DORIAN MODE and use it to improvise around a variety of chord changes. This 'mode' (a form of scale) is famous for its smooth, silky sound and is common in many different styles of music. Full guidance will be given at every stage and the tuition is step-by-step. This is exciting stuff and what playing an instrument is all about! Suitable for lower-intermediate to upper-intermediate players but all levels welcome. The whole session will be recorded for you to download. Follow-up learning material will be recommended. Come along and learn how to create your own solos and melodies!
